AI Consulting Proposal

Prepared for Tention
Prepared by Hayden Coutts
Date April 2026

What This Is

An ongoing engagement to build the creative engine and AI-powered systems Tention needs to scale acquisition without being bottlenecked by James on camera, manual ops, or organic content. Done-for-you. Creative comes first because that's where the growth lever is — automations layer in after.

How This Engagement Works

A few things run as always-on threads across all three months, not as one-off deliverables. This is the core of the retainer.

Thread 01

Creative

Starts with a new landing page to anchor the funnel. From there, ongoing creative iteration built around the formats and angles Tention is already winning with — I review what's performing, adjust production week over week, and tune the system as we go. The engine gets sharper every month without you managing it.

Thread 02

Weekly check-in

30-minute call to review progress, get feedback, and adjust priorities as needed.

Thread 03

Monthly summary

What was built, what's working, and what's next. Clear accountability and a decision point every month.

Month by Month

Here's what I'd build first based on our conversations so far. We'll lock priorities together at the kickoff call and adjust the order to match what makes the most sense for Tention right now.

Month 01

Creative Launch + Landing Page

Month 1 is a creative launch. By the end of the month you'll have a new landing page, a first batch of static image ads, a first augmented talking ad built from footage you shoot, a first faceless motion-graphic ad, and a clear picture of where the rest of the creative rollout is going.

New Landing Page

  • Full CRO pass on your existing WordPress site — layout, messaging, conversion path
  • Room to explore a shift away from "lowest-priced" framing if you want to test bolder positioning on the creative side
  • The conversion layer the ads feed into — has to ship alongside the first creative batch

Static Image Ads — First Batch

  • 20 headlines × 4 visual styles, batched as variants and ready for Meta testing
  • Cheapest format to produce, fastest feedback loop you can run
  • Also doubles as the R&D layer for video — winning static headlines become the hooks we turn into video next

Faceless Motion-Graphic Ad — First Build

  • Production pipeline I've already built: static scene images → animated clips → voiceover → kinetic text → final polish
  • Case-study-driven scripts — "X brand, Y result, in Z days"
  • Lets us run volume without putting you on camera every week

Augmented Talking Ad — Optional First Build

  • You shoot a hook raw on your phone; I edit it with AI b-roll, kinetic text, SFX, and fire graphics — the stuff that turns a decent hook into a scroll-stopping ad without you having to be a video editor
  • You stay in frame (real, not AI); the production quality compounds every week as I build up the graphics and b-roll library
  • Lower priority than the formats above — we'll run it if and when you want to

The Umbrella Map

  • A short written + visual overview of the full creative rollout — what formats are in rotation, where organic fits in, how performance feeds back into next week's production
  • The one-pager you can share internally with Tyler and Mohamed to show where we're heading
Outcome: You've got a new landing page, your first batch of static ads in testing, your first faceless motion-graphic ad live, and a clear map for where creative goes from here.
Month 02

Billing Automation + Organic Content Engine

Month 2 is where the automations start, without slowing the creative engine down. Two builds this month — one kills a real ops pain point, the other takes you out of organic content creation entirely.

Billing Automation

  • Automated recurring invoicing to replace the day-by-day manual billing sheet
  • Payment reminders and overdue handling for the edge cases (insufficient funds, wire transfers, non-auto-charge clients)
  • Simple dashboard showing payment status across clients — no more manual tracking
  • Works with your current Stripe + PandaDoc setup, no new tools required

Automated Organic Content Engine

  • Weekly repurposing of winning ads + client case studies into native-format posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok
  • Weekly queue you review and one-click approve — stays on-brand without you touching it
  • Distribution scheduled automatically to each platform
  • Feeds off what we already know is working on paid, so organic stays in sync with the creative strategy

Creative Keeps Running

The ad engine doesn't pause for Month 2. Winning hooks from Month 1 inform Month 2 production. Augmented talking ads and faceless variants continue on the weekly cadence.

Outcome: Billing runs itself. You're out of organic content creation. Creative engine still compounding week over week.
Month 03

Pick From the Menu + Continued Creative

Month 3 is where we take what we've learned and pick the next 1–2 automations to build — based on what's actually moving the needle and what's getting in your way.

1–2 Picks From the Bigger-Picture Menu

  • Chosen together based on Month 1 and Month 2 results and what's hurting most right now
  • Likely candidates given where we'd be: automated reporting on ad performance, database reactivation of churned clients, or cold outreach automation (if the platform-risk research comes back green)
  • Full menu below if you want to see the options in advance

Creative Thread Continues

  • By Month 3 we have real performance data; the weekly cadence is fully dialed in
  • Double down on winning formats, cut losers, expand the library

Scope-Next Conversation

  • Joint review: what's earned its keep, what's next, where the next quarter goes
  • Bring Tyler and Mohamed in if it's useful — this is the decision point for continuing beyond the 90 days
Outcome: Creative engine is dialled in and producing. 1–2 additional automations live. Clear roadmap for the next phase.

Bigger-Picture Menu

These are the automations I think matter most for Tention beyond the creative engine. They're not scheduled — they're a menu you pick from in Month 2, Month 3, and beyond, depending on what's actually working and what's hurting. Ordered roughly by how much I think each one moves the needle.

1

Cold Outreach Automation

Cold email + LinkedIn, not Instagram DMs. Your ad account and DM account are the same account and Meta risk isn't worth it. Needs a platform-risk research pass before building. Once live: AI identifies prospects, drafts personalized openers, you review and send.

2

Database Reactivation

Past leads and churned clients sitting in your CRM. Often the highest-ROI automation you can run because the leads already know you. AI identifies the best candidates, crafts personalized outreach, and brings them back into the pipeline.

3

Internal Reporting & Insights

Automated ad performance alerts + a weekly summary with AI-generated recommendations delivered to you. Stops the "wait, how did last week actually do" question.

4

Fulfillment Acceleration

AI-assisted Klaviyo flow buildouts for Mohamed's team. Pre-built templates with proven trigger logic, AI copy drafts per client. Cut buildout time from hours to minutes. Take on more clients without adding headcount.

5

Follow-Up & Nurture Sequences

Multi-touch sequences for warm leads who aren't ready to buy yet. Keeps the pipeline warm without anyone manually chasing.

6

Client Onboarding Automation

PandaDoc → Stripe → intake form → Discord access → kickoff call scheduling as one connected flow. You said this wasn't even top 3, but liked the idea — so it lives on the menu.

Intentionally not on the menu: speed-to-lead. You already respond within an hour — not a real gap for you.
